Terms of Use

Simple rules for using Wonderscope fairly, safely, and with the right adult in charge.

These Terms of Use govern access to the Wonderscope website, guides, quizzes, learner profiles, account areas, admin tools, and future paid access. By using Wonderscope, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy.

Public beta service

Wonderscope is still evolving. Features, content, and pricing can change while the public beta is active.

Family account responsibility

The account holder is responsible for learner profiles, permissions, billing choices, and supervising child use of the service.

Educational, not professional advice

Wonderscope is for general learning and curiosity. It is not a substitute for medical, legal, financial, or safety advice.

Paid access follows checkout terms

If paid plans are enabled later, checkout and billing pages will show price, tax, renewal, and cancellation details before you pay.

1. Acceptance and who may use Wonderscope

Use of the service means you agree to these Terms and to the connected privacy and billing rules.

Wonderscope is a learning service for foundational knowledge, guided discovery, and quizzes. By accessing or using it, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

In these Terms, “Wonderscope,” “we,” and “us” mean the operator of the Wonderscope service at the time you use it.

If you are creating or managing an account for a child, you confirm that you are the child’s parent, guardian, teacher, or another person legally authorized to act for that learner, or that local law clearly allows the learner to use the service independently.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use Wonderscope.

2. Public beta status

This is a live product, but it is still a beta and should be treated that way.

Wonderscope may add, remove, or change guides, quizzes, achievements, reward rules, pricing, feature access, and integrations while the public beta is running.

We aim for a stable experience, but beta services can include bugs, temporary downtime, incomplete features, or changes to content and functionality. We may suspend or limit features to protect users or improve the service.

3. Accounts, learner profiles, and adult oversight

The account holder is responsible for account security and for how child profiles are created and managed.

  • Keep login credentials secure and do not share access in a way that bypasses your plan or granted permissions.
  • Use accurate information for the main account and use first names or nicknames for learner profiles wherever possible.
  • Do not create learner profiles for children unless you have authority to do so.
  • Account holders are responsible for activity that happens through their account, including learner profile use and billing decisions.

Wonderscope may limit or disable accounts, sessions, or learner profiles when we believe it is reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, policy enforcement, or legal compliance.

4. Acceptable use and restrictions

Use the service for personal, family, educational, or evaluation purposes only unless we agree otherwise in writing.

You may not:

  • scrape, bulk-download, or systematically copy content or images from the service;
  • reverse engineer, probe, overload, or try to bypass access controls, rate limits, or payment restrictions;
  • resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the service or its content without permission;
  • use the service to infringe third-party rights or violate law;
  • misrepresent learner age, guardian permission, or access rights; or
  • interfere with the normal operation, security, or availability of Wonderscope.

5. Educational content and third-party material

Wonderscope is built for learning and curiosity, but it does not promise perfect completeness or professional-grade advice.

The guides, quizzes, explanations, achievements, and recommendations in Wonderscope are for general educational and informational use. They are not medical, legal, financial, mental-health, emergency, or other professional advice.

Some content, media, links, or references may come from third-party sources such as Wikipedia, Wikimedia Commons, or other reference-image providers. Third-party names, trademarks, and content remain the property of their respective owners.

We work to keep content helpful and age-appropriate, but you should still use adult judgment for anything important, sensitive, or safety-related.

6. Free access, complimentary access, and future paid plans

Wonderscope can offer multiple access paths, and each one has different limits.

Wonderscope may offer free access, preview-only access, complimentary full access, one-time founder access, or subscription-based plans. The features available to your account depend on your current entitlement and any complimentary access granted by the operator.

If paid access is enabled, checkout, billing pages, and provider terms will describe the price, applicable taxes, billing interval, renewals, refunds, cancellations, and included access before you complete a purchase.

Purchases must be completed by the main account holder or another authorized adult. Children should not enter payment details into Wonderscope on their own.

7. Intellectual property and feedback

You get a limited right to use the product, not ownership of the product or its content.

As between you and Wonderscope, the service design, software, selection and arrangement of content, quizzes, reward systems, branding, and original materials are protected by intellectual-property and other laws.

Subject to these Terms, you receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Wonderscope for the purposes allowed here.

If you send feedback, ideas, or suggestions, you give Wonderscope permission to use them to improve the service without any obligation to compensate you, unless we separately agree otherwise in writing.

8. Disclaimers, limits, and suspension

This section sets expectations for a beta product and limits liability to the extent the law allows.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wonderscope is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, complete accuracy, or error-free operation.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wonderscope and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenues, goodwill, or data arising from or related to the service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the total liability of Wonderscope and its operator for claims relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to Wonderscope for the relevant service in the twelve months before the claim arose or USD 100.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that cannot be limited under applicable consumer law.

9. Changes, governing law, and contact

If the Terms change, we will update this page. Questions can be sent to our contact address.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version becomes effective when posted, unless a different effective date is stated.

Unless mandatory local consumer law requires otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of India, excluding conflict-of-laws rules.

Questions about these Terms can be sent to hello@wonderscope.app.
